This online training will help you learn from Lifecentre’s experiences in working with survivors over the years. The modules capture some of the knowledge of our lead counsellors and create a training programme that is cheap to access from all over the world. Whether you are a professional working with survivors, whether you are looking to set up or grow a project serving survivors, or are simply supporting someone personally…this training will equip you to navigate through some of the complexities of working with sexual trauma.

The training platform offers training on our most asked for subjects and has been compiled into 8 separate training modules:

1. How to access our online training platform

This video talks you through everything you need to know about opening an account with us, viewing the course catalogue, selecting courses, paying for them and returning to your account to watch the training.

Steps

a) The first thing you need to do is click the link above that says “online training” this takes you to a page where you are asked for your email address and password. If you have previously opened an account this is how you can access the training you have already downloaded as well as browse new content that may be of interest to you.

b) If its your first time here you will need to create an account in order to browse the course catalogue online. To do this simple click ‘create account’ and follow the simple steps that the form will guide you through. Don’t worry, creating an account is free and you won’t be asked for any card details or anything until you want to purchase a course. However, you do need to create an account to browse the courses available.

c) Once you have created an account you will be asked to log in using your email address and password. From there you can click ‘catalog’ to view all the courses available to you. Once you’ve decided which course you want you can simple click “add to cart”

d) Our most expensive course is listed at $25 which by todays exchange rate is around £19. However, as we know, exchange rates do vary widely so we always suggest that you check this with a currency converter online first to make sure you’re 100% happy with your purchase.

e) Once you’ve added a course or two to your basket you will see an option appear in the top right hand corner of your screen to “checkout” simply click this option and follow the online prompts to complete your purchase.

f) Once you’ve purchased a courses you will find them all ready to watch under the dashboard tab. Simply work your way through the content in the order of which its presented and feel free to pause it, log out and come back to it at any time.
