Young People's Therapist - Chichester

  • 11-18-year-olds therapist.
  • Self-employed contract, £29 per client counselling session, 12 hours (8 sessions) to 18 hours (12 sessions) per week.

We are looking for qualified, experienced therapists, preferably BACP/ UKCP/BAPT or ACC accredited or working towards accreditation status, Ideal candidates will have a minimum 2 years post-qualified experience with a foundation in trauma therapy and experience with pre and post-trial work.

Helpline Volunteer

The helpline team provides specialist emotional support, advice and signposting via telephone and text for people who have had an unwanted sexual experience. Our helpline service is provided by a team of trained volunteers. This service is open to people of any gender who have experienced sexual violence or abuse, no matter when or how it happened. It is also open to supporters of survivors (such as parents, partners or friends).

Schools Work Volunteer

Volunteer needed to assist Lifecentre’s Education and Training Facilitator with a Research Project being run jointly with the University of Chichester and a local Chichester secondary school.

The Volunteer will be needed for the following tasks:

  • Assisting Education & Training Facilitator (ETF) to run focus groups with pupils, teachers and senior leaders in a local school
  • Managing the audio recording of each focus group
  • Assisting with refreshments, setting up room, welcoming participants
  • Helping to keep discussion flowing as ETF manages the groups
  • Assisting with preparation of resources e.g. collecting printing and bringing to school, arranging materials e.g. flip chart paper, pens
  • Assisting with the preparation and delivery of other prevention work in schools by Lifecentre as required
