Email Therapy offers a great deal of flexibility and can be especially useful for people with busy lives or those who may feel that therapy in person or over the telephone is just too overwhelming for you right now.

Our email therapy service ensures that you are well supported by our qualified therapists. It gives you the choice of when and how, you express what you are thinking and feeling.

As soon as a slot becomes available one of our therapists will email to start the assessment process with you. If for any reason email therapy may not be appropriate right now, the therapist will discuss your other options with you.

Email your therapist using our secure email once a week using no more than 500 words, and your email therapist will reply at an agreed time.

Consider making a voluntary donation towards the costs of your counselling and help us keep waiting times to a minimum for other survivors like you. There is no obligation to pay, so you are still welcome to access the service if you know you will be unable to donate.

Our team of experienced counsellors have your safety at heart and consciously create situations which make you feel comfortable. They are accessible and willing to help in any way they can. All of our counsellors:

  • are qualified with a minimum of a Diploma in Counselling
  • are experienced with at least two years’ post qualification experience
  • are affiliated to an approved professional body
  • receive monthly professional supervision
  • receive ongoing continuous professional development.
